Who We Are
Kyle’s experience and interest in the construction trades stemmed originally from his father being a framing carpenter. He still remembers those young years loving the smell of fresh cut lumber and being proud of his hardworking old man.
After working for several years under electricians, masons, + carpenters, he decided to start his own business. He wanted to create an environment that respected its employees, its customers, + had clear communication through all its endeavors, and created a beautiful product.
And so Houseal Construction was born.
Houseal Construction, LLC started officially in Philadelphia in February 2019 where we (Kyle + Meridith) originally met. In March 2020 we moved up to the Upper Valley of New Hampshire near where Meridith grew up to settle down with our budding family. We’ve been growing steadily ever since (family + business, both!).
As a family run business, we pride ourselves on quality workmanship. We want to help you create a home that you love spending time in. We want to make getting renovations as headache free as possible - we all know how hard it is to find a reliable contractor, and our biggest desire is to make the process as easy for you as we can.

Kyle
CEO (Chief Executive Officer) + Founder
Kyle is the face of the business. You’ll see him for estimates, he will be there at the job site working alongside our team 70% of the time, when he’s not working on estimates and project management.
Over the past 10 + years, Kyle has gained experience working as a laborer, carpenter, mason and electrician. In 2015, living in Philadelphia, he had the opportunity to work on large scale apartment complex remodels. Starting as a laborer, he quickly worked his way up to assistant superintendent within 3 years for a 10 story, 181 unit luxury apartment contract before he went on to start Houseal Construction.

Meridith
COO (Chief Operating Officer) + Designer
If you’re emailing Houseal Construction, most likely you’re talking to Meridith. She mostly works behind the scenes, there’s no one title that covers the breadth of what she does. From accounting, to secretarial work, to design work + modeling, to making the business more organized and efficient, Meridith does almost everything behind the scenes.
As a former mechanical engineer for the Department of Defense, business owner, + design assistant for a Houston based interior design firm, she brings a unique combination of construction, design, + business knowledge to the team. She takes care of the books, administrative tasks, website design, marketing, and pretty much anything else the business needs to grow.

Operations Manager
Lisa brings with her a wide array of skills from high level administration to programming. Her depth of knowledge and the ability to handle anything that is thrown her way has proved her to be a valuable asset to our team. -

Lead Carpenter
Gabe has been doing carpentry for 10+ years. He started as a laborer and then moved to Forman position 2 years ago and got experience in fresh builds to remodeling. He spends his free time with his family, going four wheeling, hunting, fishing, and being outside in general.

Lead Plumber
Shawn is a licensed plumber and has worked in the field of carpentry + plumbing since 1985 bringing 36 years of experience to our team. Shawn is a hard worker, always on time, and knows how to figure out just about anything. You’ll see Shawn the most while getting the work done on your project.

With 5 years of carpentry experience Matthew is a great addition to our team. He’s striving to learn and grow, and keeping everything clean and organized! He’s an avid motorcyclist and involved with a veteran non-profit.
